Every year the South Brisbane Rotary Club recognises local officers from essential services for going above and beyond their normal duties for the benefit of the community.

This time around the ambulance award deservedly went to Balmoral Station Officer in Charge Chris Turner, who was presented the award by Dr Amy MacMahon MP, QAS Acting Assistant Commissioner Anthony Hose and Rotary Club of South Brisbane President Roger Crawfoot.

Chris was nominated for his willingness to help others and take on additional responsibilities. He is a positive role model, a passionate clinician and it’s wonderful to see his hard work recognised!
